I joined Denise Duffield Thomas’ Money Boot Camp back in 2014. It’s been amazing to see her career grow and prosper. In fact, she has a new book coming out called Chill and Prosper (check it out!) She now holds monthly calls via her private Facebook group for her...
am sharing five things I am consciously LOVING and focusing on this week.
I was thinking about how the word commencement means to begin, yet commencement is celebrated at the end.
It reminds me of the quote from the late organizational psychologist William Bridges, “Something must end, before something new can begin.“
There is grief in the endings, even when something good is beginning.
“There are two kinds of people in this world, those who change and those who think about it and don’t do anything.”
When is it going to be your time? After you help your husband find and settle into his new job? After the kids begin their camp/program/new school year? After you reach that money milestone or pay off your loans? When are you going to put yourself first? And what is it costing you not to?
Sometimes, I hear this from a WILL member who needs a little extra love and support:“Thank you for not giving up on me.“This is true even if you haven’t stepped into WILL yet.
Most of the #WomenLawyers that I work with are surprised that when they give their notice, they are asked to stay.If you want to make things better and stay where you are, you always have the option to try.
I invite you to book a call and explore if WILL could provide you the structure, framework, community, and the full body experience of love, and guide you step-by-step out of big law and into your dreamy new reality.
How do I know that comfort can kill courage, or at the very least, mute it?I’ve been wrestling with this in my personal life. There’s something I’ve been wanting to change, and every time I get close to the edge, I step back into the comfort of the familiar.
Want more freedom of mind, body, and spirit? To overcome feeling alone and unsure? Dip your toe in with an intimate, confidential, and loving conversation with me. Book a call with me.
The women I work with no longer want to be defined by their lawyer identity, or suffer the cost of anxiety. Not the toll it’s taking on their bodies, lives or relationships. They are ready to create a new “I am…”
If you are READY to make this the year you unplug from feeling like you are failing on all fronts, escape the tyranny of the billable hour, or stop not knowing what else it is you really want to do…
If you are a lawyer who wants more freedom, autonomy, and clarity about your next career steps, I would love to see if I could help you. Please reach out here.
