Do you feel the need to be superhuman?
Not in a way that makes you better than others, but in that you expect more from yourself?
Do you judge yourself more harshly than you do others?
During the WILL Community Call the other day, some new members were asking those further ahead in their journey how to make the most of the program.
I love to sit back and let them discuss.
That’s where the magic of our Community sparkles.
And what they said crystallized something important.
Yes, WILL offers structure, 1:1 support and a community to guide you through a career transformation process.
Yes, there are mile markers along the way to support your progression.
Resistance is part of the game. It will come up.
So we like to expand the definition of the “WILL work” to include things like…
Taking a nap
Reading a book.
Choosing NOT to do your WILL homework.
Because going HAM on school, work, and your life thus far…
Has gotten you where you are now.
Do you want to continue that way?
So in addition to figuring out what you want to do next…
WILL gives you the opportunity to practice how you want to be in your life.
Sounds good, right?
More magic happens when you ease up on yourself a bit.
When you allow that other, quieter voice to whisper in your ear…
That’s where your progress starts to amplify.
For example, WILL member celebrations that inspired all of us this week included:
- Receiving an acceptance to a top notch MBA program with a full tuition package
- Starting a coach training program
- And deciding to quit their job and enjoy some stay at home mom time while they figure it out
These are their results.
