Last weekend I saw the documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”
Did you grow up watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood? If so, you will love the movie.
I was reminded of sitting cross legged in front of the TV, watching the trolley go into the Land of Make Believe, and the poignancy of Mr. Roger’s message.
You are special just the way you are.
The movie ended with one of the subjects asking us to think about a person or people who have supported us in our lives.
There was a minute of silence where each of the interviewees reflected. It was an experiential moment, when we in the audience also focused on someone who had believed fully in us.
Let’s do it now, together.
Set a timer or close your eyes and for one minute let your mind rest on a person, or people, who lovingly helped you on your way, who deeply and completely believe in you.
Who did you think about? Feel their love in you.
I love supporting WILL members to discover their unique strengths, gifts, talents and interests…
to discover and reflect what is special, yes, “just the way you are.”
